Contour Mappa started as a pipe dream. I had been a cartographer working for 20 years in the industry before quitting to do something else entirely. After 12 years outside of the industry I still had the passion for mapmaking and plenty of ideas for products I would like to produce. So I decided to give it a go and start up from scratch. I trained myself to use the latest software and data and started making maps for fun. I have a passion for the outdoors, particularly the mountains. So my first products combine the things I love, maps and mountains to produce these contour maps of UK mountains with digital terrain modelling. I hope you enjoy my products, there will be a steady flow of maps to come so keep an eye out for new products. This is my first attempt at selling online so its very much an adventure and steep learning curve for now!
